What technical factors affect the brewing process and the taste of coffee?

Brewing Intermediate builds on the concepts and skills introduced in the foundation course. The course covers a wide range of topics, the most essential elements of brewing and their impact on the taste in the cup. You will learn how the SCA brewing chart is structured and practice measuring strength and extraction of coffee. Last but not least, you will get to blind-test a variety of coffee brews.

SCA Brewing foundation or a deep understanding of brewing and grinding is recommended as prerequisite knowledge.

SCA enrollment fee (50 EUR) is included in the course fee.
